At the "Zoran Jimi Gopčević" swimming pool, on the occasion of November 21 - Kotor Municipality Day, the city water polo tournament of the youngest teams of the Swimming Water Polo Club "Primorac" and the Water Polo Academy "Cattaro" was held today.

Kotor water polo clubs traditionally mark the Municipal Day with this tournament, which gathers the youngest athletes and promotes the spirit of community and pride due to belonging to the city with a rich sports tradition.

Petar Vico, coordinator of junior selections in "Primorac" and Mirko Vičević in front of the "Cattaro" academy, expressed their satisfaction with the celebration of the city holiday through the sports gathering of the youngest, stressing the importance of nurturing the values ​​that Kotor represents.

They emphasized that the tournament is also an opportunity to exchange knowledge and improve the water polo skills of young athletes, as well as to create a stimulating environment in which new friendships and future champions are born, for which Kotor is recognized around the world.

With this event, as pointed out by the actors of today's tournament, Kotor confirms its long-term association with water polo, a sport that is part of its identity, tradition and pride.
